What You’ll Do:

• Develop Risk Communications: Create precise, customer-friendly communications that address risk events, balancing regulatory accuracy with the brand’s voice and personality.
• Represent a Leading Financial Institution: Work exclusively for one major financial services client, ensuring all communications are aligned with their brand and legal standards.
• Collaborate and Contribute: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), legal, compliance, business teams, and the creative department to gather inputs, identify key messaging elements, and draft on-brand, legally accurate content.
• Research and Analyze: Conduct research to align your messaging with previous risk events and established regulations, ensuring consistency and compliance while reducing unnecessary uniqueness.
• Advocate for Quality: Present well-reasoned recommendations to business and legal partners, influencing the acceptance of high-quality, compliant communications.
• Manage Projects: Organize your workload efficiently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. You’ll be transitioning to a streamlined workfront model, allowing you to focus more on writing and less on process management.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of marketing trends and innovations, integrating new ideas into your writing to maintain relevance and impact.
• Ensure Customer Impact: Your writing will directly influence customer perceptions during risk events, making your role crucial in maintaining trust and transparency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in technical writing, customer service writing, or informational writing, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in financial services or credit cards.
• Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to create concise, engaging content that simplifies complex topics while adhering to brand voice and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to assess risk events, ask the right questions, and produce accurate, on-point communications.
• Collaborative Spirit: Experience working in cross-functional teams, with strong communication skills to present ideas effectively and collaborate with various departments.
