As the Packaging Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the development and implementation of advanced packaging solutions. This technical role requires a deep understanding of packaging engineering, print technology, and project management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and vendors, particularly in China, to ensure the seamless integration of localized content into our packaging processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and oversee complex projects from conception to completion, focusing on the development of software/tools that merge localized content for use in packaging at manufacturing sites in China.
  • Technical Expertise: Collaborate with R&D teams to manage technical projects related to print technology and packaging engineering, with an emphasis on raw materials, adhesives, and labeling.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with external partners and vendors in China, as well as internal teams across different time zones (including early morning calls with Israel/Europe and evening calls with China).
  • Environmental Compliance: Partner with the environmental team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in packaging processes.
  • Procurement Management: Process purchase orders (POs) and manage invoicing related to packaging projects.
  • Communication: Build and deliver presentations to leadership and cross-functional teams, effectively communicating project progress and outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in consumer electronics or consumer goods packaging, with a strong focus on packaging engineering, print technology, and project management.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of various printing processes, particularly UV printing, and knowledge of raw materials such as paper, ink, and adhesives.
  • Software/Tools Development: Proven experience in developing and implementing software/tools for packaging processes.
  • Project Management: Expertise in using project tracking methods and tools, including database/project management systems.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Travel: Availability for domestic and international travel (approximately 10% of the time).
  • Educational Background: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related field is preferred, with a strong foundation in Quality Assurance and R&D.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise in print technology and packaging engineering.
  • Collaboration: Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $90 to $120. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
