We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Communications Manager to oversee and execute communication strategies across multiple regions and markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive communication plans that align with the company’s global objectives and brand positioning. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, capable of driving impactful messaging to diverse audiences while maintaining brand consistency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global communication strategies that support the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with regional communication teams to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency of brand voice across all markets.
  • Create compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media, website, and internal communications.
  • Cultivate relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the company, representing its interests and values in media interviews, public speaking engagements, and other external forums.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication-related matters, including crisis management and reputation protection.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of communication plans for product launches, corporate events, and other initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging communication technologies to inform strategy development and innovation.
  • Manage communication budgets, resources, and vendors effectively to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in global communications, public relations, or corporate communications roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts, industry influencers, and other external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Experience with crisis communication management and reputation protection strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, media monitoring tools, and social media platforms.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55.00 to $65.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
