We’re working with a client in search of an experienced streaming distribution marketing professional focused on driving subscriber growth for TV+ on global third-party platforms. This role is part of the Video Services Group that manages marketing for non-native devices, such as the TV App on platforms like PlayStation or Roku. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing paid media and marketing for TV+ and Sports on these platforms.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver. This person will also be adept at navigating a highly complex organization with minimal hand-holding and should have a strong understanding of Creative Development within the entertainment sector, including the associated components like rights clearances, talent negotiations, and legal considerations.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing distribution marketing for a major studio, streaming, or subscription-based service.
  • In-depth knowledge of the streaming device landscape and the various marketing channels that can be influenced across the partner platform itself to retail, digital, social, and more.
  • Experience leading the creative process including data-based content selection, briefing, clearing, and trafficking.
  • Experience with global marketing and all the complexities that come with executing projects across multiple markets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Keynote and ability to visualize data in a clear and concise way.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be capable of organizing a wide breadth of projects.
  • Real passion for television, movies, and the overall streaming industry.


  • Support account leads in securing partner marketing for content priorities with an eye towards innovative ways to leverage each platform’s unique strengths.
  • Assist with creative strategy and development including content selection, briefing, clearing and trafficking.
  • Manage internal cross-functional communications with various groups including but not limited to international marketing, global business, and growth teams.
  • Inform paid media strategy with analysis and insights of platform performance and any platform-specific programs.

Additional Requirements

  • The candidate will take on the workload off the Account Managers who own the external partnerships and negotiations. They will pitch titles and secure the best placements on platforms and need to be able to discuss media components.
  • The ideal candidate has experience at a studio or TV entity and has dealt with external distribution partners. They should have a “partner mentality,” understanding the gives and takes of negotiating with someone external.
  • Ideal previous experience would include roles at entities like Roku, Amazon Prime Video, Fire TV, or similar organizations. Candidates should understand performance media and a subscription marketing model.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA preferred.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60-$65 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
