Our team is seeking a  Project Manager with experience in Cloud Marketing.

Their main responsibilities are:
• Collaborating with engineering stakeholders on road map, launch, and disclosure of features.
• Working with business planning on monetization and pricing of products.
• Doing competitive insights and mapping solutions to customer needs.
• Supporting analyst and public relations.
• Partnering with the GTM PMM team on field and partner readiness, website and event presence.

• Key projects: This role will contribute to variety of tasks but are based on semester planning cycles but will mainly be related to Microsoft Fabric.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of:
– Aligning to multiple PMMs and supporting them with following up on action items from team meetings.
– Setting up team meetings and write ups from the meetings
– Assisting with submissions of intake tickets in tools such as BADE for any web changes.
– Being proactive and independent in leading work streams and identifying gaps or opportunities.

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 3-5 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Disqualifiers: N/A
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience within the Cloud Marketing organization and excellent project management experience.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 3 years experience at Microsoft – preferrable in the cloud marketing group
2. Minimum 3-5 years experience Communication skills, including leading meetings, following up with senior stakeholders, and writing summaries
3. Minimum 3-5 years experience with Familiarity with Microsoft marketing tools, such as BADE and the brand naming process.

Job Description:

Summary:
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• 2-4 years experience required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $45.91 to $51.01 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
