About the Role: As a Content Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping content architecture, strategy, and execution across our digital product portfolio. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, bridging the gaps between design, content, and engineering. Your goal: architect content models that enhance flexibility, reusability, and maintainability, while improving presentation and structure. Define UI and structural improvements in our Drupal CMS to elevate the authoring experience.
Responsibilities:
- Content and Metadata Modeling (50%): Develop and refine structured content and metadata models, enabling delivery and evolution of features. Map components through the delivery pipeline, ensuring data integrity from creation to end user interaction.
- Content Management and Workflow (25%): Establish and contribute to content workflows and processes. Advocate for content creators, ensuring sustainability in content lifecycles and quality.
- Content Strategy and Design (25%): Synthesize user needs and business requirements for scalable information deployment across digital products. Create strategies for content reuse across channels, collaborate on innovative, content-driven digital experiences.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years in content or data models and workflows for digital products.
- CMS: Proficiency with Drupal or similar CMS, including content types, fields, relationships, and headless/decoupled usage.
- Skills: Problem-solving using data, strong verbal and written communication, ability to simplify complex concepts, and a collaborative mindset.
- Personality: Self-starter with a passion for education and career opportunities for students. Strong negotiation skills, relationship-building abilities, and influence.
