We are looking for an Apparel Product Designer for a 3-month hybrid engagement starting in early February in Beaverton, OR. As a key contributor, you’ll directly influence the next generation of cutting-edge products, from initial spark to market launch, impacting consumers globally. This is an incredible opportunity to dive deep into product research and development, focusing on ideation, engineering, and project management to create truly groundbreaking products. Responsibilities
- Support innovative thinking for performance-based products, identifying growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Develop product ideas aligned with the vision for new products, collaborating with product creation teams across all relevant business units.
- Utilize developing research skills and methodologies, combined with insights into consumer needs, business goals, and performance requirements, to develop advanced product concepts.
- Elevate product capabilities through the application of new technologies or construction processes.
- Participate actively in the delivery of proof-of-concept for novel product ideas.
- Identify and define key elements of product construction, materials, and processes.
- Engineer prototypes, demonstrating a high level of initiative and independent ideation.
- Participate in innovation projects, transforming conceptual ideas into tangible realities by working within or alongside multi-disciplinary teams, including product creation, manufacturing, and external vendors.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and present results and new ideas at the department level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of directly relevant work experience.
- Alternatively, one of the following may be accepted:
- PhD or Law degree + 1 year of experience.
- Master’s degree + 0-3 years of experience.
- Associate’s degree + 1-3 years of experience.
- High School Diploma + 3-5 years of experience.
- Developing research skills and methodology.
- Knowledge of consumer, business, and performance requirements.
- Ability to engineer prototypes.
- Demonstrated a high level of initiative in driving ideation independently.
- Strong communication skills for preparing reports and delivering presentations.
- Experience working in or with multi-disciplinary teams.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.00 to $40.00 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
