This is a hybrid role in Vancouver.
Pay Range: $40/hr – $47/hr

Our client, a leading creative studio within a major entertainment platform, is seeking a talented and versatile artist to join their acclaimed team. This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact on an iconic entertainment brand, contributing directly to the visual identity and fan engagement across various digital and print channels. You will be instrumental in bringing captivating 3D compositions to life, influencing how millions experience and connect with a beloved franchise.

As a multi-skilled artist, you will dive into the heart of visual storytelling, crafting stunning 3D compositions featuring characters and environments. Your work will span social media, apparel, print, and web, producing high-quality posed and lit renders for both digital and print campaigns. This role is perfect for someone passionate about pushing creative boundaries and contributing to a dynamic, inclusive team that values respect, a growth mindset, and grit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling rendered creative based on brand requirements.
  • Drive creative delivery from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring alignment with brand and franchise objectives.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual communication across all project deliverables, supporting broader strategic brand extensions.
  • Contribute to reference gathering, mood board creation, and style guide development.
  • Consult with and present to internal stakeholders, offering design concepts and tactical guidance.
  • Collaborate with Producers to establish tactical asset delivery plans and diligently track progress to meet deadlines.
  • Establish and manage digital file management structures, assisting in archiving project files.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • An art-related degree or comparable professional experience.
  • A strong illustrative background or a deep understanding of photographic and/or cinematic composition and lighting.
  • Proven experience in posing and lighting 3D models within game or film pipelines.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling, rendering, and image manipulation software.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills and a strong client-service orientation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong art portfolio demonstrating composition, posing, and lighting skills is required.
  • Intermediate experience level preferred, though talented junior candidates with exceptional portfolios will be considered.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with additional industry-standard compositing software.
  • Experience with industry-standard version control software.
