This is a remote, part-time opportunity supporting a high-profile client in the energy sector. The ideal candidate is located in the Central or Eastern time zones and is available to work 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust hours based on project needs.

Aquent Studios is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support client projects for one of the world’s most recognized energy organizations. This role is ideal for a technically strong, client-facing consultant who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys translating business needs into elegant, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and support SharePoint-based solutions for enterprise-level client projects
  • Translate conceptual ideas and business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development tasks
  • Map visual and UX concepts to SharePoint functionality, creating prototypes and proofs of concept to validate feasibility early
  • Serve as an integral member of the consulting team, contributing independently across the development lifecycle
  • Develop client-side code using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, PHP, and related technologies
  • Leverage expertise in SharePoint Search, metadata, and indexing, compiling search results into custom SharePoint/HTML pages
  • Apply deep knowledge of SharePoint 2016 to solve complex technical and business challenges
  • Support SharePoint and website branding initiatives using CSS, templates, and page layouts
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve software issues
  • Maintain a service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills for client-facing interactions

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on SharePoint development experience, including completed reference projects
  • 5+ years of front-end development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SEO best practices)
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Nintex (required)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clients

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • SharePoint certification
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Advanced Nintex Forms experience
  • Animations or interactive UI development

Other Requirements

Compensation Range: $50-55/hr DOE
