**What You’ll Do**
In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in elevating digital experiences, providing expert guidance, and shaping complex user interactions. You will merge user needs with business objectives, leveraging data and empathy to drive project outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to a client-centric approach, making every digital touchpoint feel important and impactful.

* Strategic Design Leadership:
* Provide expert advice and strategic guidance on interaction design to cross-functional teams, ensuring craft excellence, consistency, and alignment with design systems and product guidelines.
* Champion client needs, influencing product strategy through a deep understanding of interaction design theory, best practices, and user-centered design solutions.
* Facilitate dynamic workshops and ideation sessions, evaluating outcomes against key business objectives.

* Exceptional Artifact Creation:
* Independently lead and coordinate design projects of varying complexity, managing timelines and activities with precision.
* Craft compelling medium-fidelity design artifacts, including sketches, wireframes, and prototypes, to effectively communicate complex system designs and client experiences.
* Take ownership of developing and refining non-textual content, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all digital platforms.
* Present interaction design work to stakeholders, upholding design standards and accessibility principles, contributing to consistent client experiences aligned with brand values.

* Data-Driven Research & Testing:
* Collaborate closely with design researchers and product stakeholders to inform design decisions through insightful research discussions, user testing, and data analysis.
* Develop and refine interaction design solutions by co-creating user flows and prototypes.
* Conduct competitive trend research and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver data-driven design recommendations.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* A compelling portfolio showcasing application design samples.
* A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in designing usable interfaces across diverse channels and platforms.
* Proven experience in an applied research setting, successfully integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
* Demonstrated ability to articulate design strategy, rationale, and logic, clearly outlining benefits and highlighting potential risks associated with design decisions.
* Expert proficiency with industry-standard design, prototyping, and research tools such as Figma, Mural, and UserTesting.com.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Master’s degree or certification in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field.
* Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of various research methods, including when and how to apply them effectively throughout the product lifecycle.
* A keen appreciation for the potential and principles of ‘design thinking’.
* Experience thriving within a large organizational structure and working effectively in an agile development environment.
