Freelance Video Editor

Overview

Our insurance company client is  seeking a Freelance Video Editor to support a variety of video projects across multiple lines of business. This ad hoc, project-based role involves both short-form, templated edits and the creation of new long-form video content. The ideal candidate is skilled in both Premiere Pro and After Effects, highly organized, and capable of taking on overflow work with minimal supervision.

Projects will range from single-speaker videos and fireside chats to social content and longer-form storytelling pieces. There will also be opportunities to contribute to LED animations and digital partnership content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Execute a range of projects including templated animations, short-form edits, and original long-form video creation.
• Manage video assets and project files following best practices for organization and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Support overflow and ad hoc projects as needed across creative and partnership initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (required).
• Strong understanding of file management and workflow best practices in video production.
• Experience with animation, motion graphics, and/or social media video content is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.

• Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
