The Resource Manager is a pivotal role within our Digital Media Center, serving as the bridge between creative vision and operational execution. You will lead the daily scheduling, resourcing, and administrative functions for our video production pipeline. Your primary goal is to ensure that our creative and communications teams have the talent, tools, and time they need to deliver high-quality content to our internal business partners.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of the video production lifecycle.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Capacity & Scheduling: Manage comprehensive project and facility schedules for internal staff, freelancers, and clients to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Workflow Management: Utilize Adobe Workfront for capacity tracking and end-to-end project management.
- Project Tracking: Update and maintain production timelines; utilize established production processes and documentation to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Resource Allocation: Identify, confirm, and assign specialized personnel and equipment resources for every production phase.
- Intake Coordination: Manage the prioritization and organization of project requests originating from the SharePoint “front door.”
- Strategic Collaboration: Attend resource and scheduling meetings to provide insights on bandwidth and potential bottlenecks.
- Client Service: Act as a professional liaison to other business units within the company, delivering proactive and creative solutions to meet their media needs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Project Management Mastery: A clear and practiced understanding of project management methodologies.
- Software Expertise: Strong, hands-on knowledge of Adobe Workfront is highly preferred.
- Composed Under Pressure: Ability to remain organized and effective while managing complex, overlapping assignments and tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and a strong familiarity with media and video production terminology.
- Results-Driven: A dedication to seamless service delivery and exceeding internal client expectations.
Education & Experience
- Experience: 2+ years of experience within an agency or video production environment.
- Education: Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Marketing, Video/Film Production, or a related field (preferred).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
