This is a US-based remote position that will start as a 5 month engagement and could extend up to 18 months.

Your work will directly inform critical product, design, and strategic business decisions, generating actionable insights that drive real-world improvements.
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate quantitative research specialist to design, analyze, and interpret large-scale quantitative studies. This role is crucial for generating data-driven insights that empower our product, design, and business teams to make informed decisions. You will be at the heart of understanding user behavior and preferences, translating complex data into clear, practical recommendations that directly influence the development and improvement of internal tools and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze large-scale surveys, experiments, and observational studies to gather comprehensive data.
- Apply advanced inferential statistical methods, including regression, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis, to address key research questions.
- Develop robust sampling strategies, weighting schemes, and data quality checks to ensure the highest level of statistical rigor and reliability.
- Analyze complex datasets, extracting meaningful patterns and trends, and effectively communicate findings to diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate quantitative insights into practical, actionable recommendations that guide product development, design iterations, and overall business strategy.
- Collaborate closely with research, design, and product teams to refine research questions and establish effective measurement approaches.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and limitations thoroughly to ensure reproducibility and accurate interpretation of results.
- Support ongoing research programs by developing standardized metrics, intuitive dashboards, and robust analytical frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, psychology, economics, data science, sociology, or a closely related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in quantitative analysis or research, with a preference for experience in a product, user experience (UX), or applied research context.
- Strong foundational knowledge in statistical inference and expertise in experimental or quasi-experimental methods.
- Demonstrated experience working with survey data, including questionnaire design, sampling techniques, and data weighting.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical or analytical programming language (e.g., R, Python) and experience with SQL.
- Exceptional ability to explain complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within cross-functional team environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UX, product, or behavioral research.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies or causal inference approaches.
- Demonstrated experience in translating quantitative findings directly into design or product decisions.
- A background in quantitative psychology or behavioral science methods and research.
