**What You’ll Do:**

As a vital member of the team, you will be instrumental in the daily administrative functions that keep the clinic running seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include:

* Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, and facilitating check-in/check-out processes.
* Warmly greeting and assisting patients with inquiries regarding appointments, payments, and schedules.
* Efficiently managing a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking messages for clinical staff and providers.
* Ensuring all necessary patient verifications and authorizations are complete prior to appointments.
* Coordinating with providers to align with their scheduling preferences and promptly addressing urgent patient needs.
* Providing essential support to patients and medical professionals, utilizing reference materials and tools.
* Performing various administrative tasks, including maintaining information databases and processing internal forms.
* Operating telephone systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently to carry out assigned duties.
* Consistently meeting or exceeding organizational and departmental service standards.
* Responding to non-clinical patient inquiries and messages, escalating as appropriate.
* Managing the distribution of faxes, mail, and maintaining organized clinic-specific documentation.
* Scheduling patients efficiently based on reports and ensuring all scheduling records are current and accurate.
* Meeting daily scheduling metrics and targets.
* Facilitating requests for medical records.

**What You’ll Bring:**

**Education Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or GED.

**Experience Qualifications:**

* Proven experience in scheduling appointments within a high-volume environment.
* Demonstrated experience in patient relations and customer service.
* Familiarity with requesting and coordinating medical records.
* Experience coordinating with medical offices.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Must-Haves):**

* A strong customer service mindset.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Technical proficiency with modern communication and productivity software, including general computer systems and Windows-based office software.
* Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.
* A collaborative team player with strong adaptability.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.06 to $38.96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
