Our major Healthcare client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with deep Scrum and Agile delivery experience to lead the implementation of Enterprise Procurement & Supplier Management Systems from planning through stabilization. This role will be responsible for ensuring disciplined execution, strong governance, comprehensive system documentation, and alignment with business, technology, and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of agile leadership and structured project governance, with the ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional, and regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
System Implementation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end implementation of new enterprise systems, ensuring successful planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business, vendors, security, and compliance.
- Coordinate effective reporting and status updates.
Agile/Scrum Leadership
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive iterative delivery while aligning with enterprise governance standards.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
- Partner with Product Owners and business leads to manage backlogs, priorities, and release plans.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices and delivery expectations.
Governance Controls
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including decision forums, escalation paths, and approval processes.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, SDLC standards, risk management, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and present materials for steering committees and executive stakeholders.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Oversee development and maintenance of system and project documentation, including:
- Business and technical requirements
- Architecture and integration documentation
- Process flows and operating procedures
- Testing, cutover, and deployment documentation
- Ensure documentation meets compliance, audit, and operational readiness standards.
Risk, Dependency, & Change Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across system implementations.
- Manage scope, schedule, and resource changes using formal change control processes.
- Resolve delivery blockers and escalate risks appropriately.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for executive, business, vendor, and technology stakeholders.
- Provide clear, concise status reporting on progress, risks, financials, and outcomes.
- Align delivery outcomes to business value and strategic objectives.
Continuous Improvement & Transition to Operations
- Track delivery metrics and KPIs to ensure project performance and delivery predictability.
- Drive and document lessons learned and continuous improvement practices.
- Support transition to operations, including training, support readiness, and handoff to support teams.
- Establish system governance and documentation practices.
Requirements Qualifications:
- 8+ years of project management experience, including 3-5 years leading Agile/Scrum-based system implementations.
- Proven experience leading multiple, concurrent enterprise system implementations.
- Strong working knowledge of Agie, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
- Experience establishing and managing project governance and controls.
- Demonstrated experience producing and managing end-to-end system documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in project and agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scrum Certification(s): CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Agilist.
- PMP Certification & equivalent.
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, insurance, etc.).
- Experience managing third-party risk management, vendors, system implementation, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, integrations, data migration, and change management.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43.45 to $48.28an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
