Our large Beauty Client is on teh search for a Merchandising Floor Planning Specialist. You will responsible for supporting the setup and branding of current store floor plans within the Blue Yonder floor planning system. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will ensure accurate, timely execution as the organization transitions store maps into a new floor planning platform. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity and supporting merchandising strategy across the U.S. store fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand and configure store floor plans as part of the transition to the Blue Yonder floor planning tool.
  • Support the migration of existing store maps, ensuring accuracy and adherence to merchandising standards.
  • Track project progress, identify issues, and communicate status updates and risks to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Develop a working understanding of merchandising principles and brand rules to support accurate product and brand placement.
  • Maintain master databases documenting branded and animated space by store and fixture for an assigned portion of the U.S. retail fleet.
  • Support ongoing updates and data maintenance to ensure consistency across systems and teams.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience working within a retail environment, preferably in Merchandising, Store Operations, or a related field.
  • Highly process-oriented with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experience using Blue Yonder space planning software and creating planograms is a plus, but not required.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and independently.
