About the Role
You will independently lead the full lifecycle of complex programs, extending your influence across multiple teams. You will drive, organize, and manage program activities that achieve significant business outcomes. This includes building systems to proactively identify improvement opportunities and lead future optimizations, incorporating essential change management and performance metric tracking. You will tackle undefined cross-functional challenges, apply advanced program management methodologies, and manage program adaptation as circumstances evolve. Strong domain expertise will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently author comprehensive program charters, detailing scope, timelines, OKRs, resourcing, and risks/dependencies for advanced programs.
• Develop detailed project plans that break initiatives into phases, outline risks and dependencies, and provide transparent visibility into program constraints.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to support strong decision-making and optimize team roles and responsibilities.
• Proactively manage program escalations in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring timely, effective resolution.
• Independently triage technical issues across teams and assess the impact of technical escalations.
• Resolve requests and issues related to tooling and processes that support engineering execution.
• Design and implement predictable communication plans tailored to stakeholder groups and represent the program across internal and external touchpoints.
• Execute change management requirements, develop rollout plans, and conduct impact analysis with cross-functional partners.
• Monitor change management rollout progress, identifying and resolving misalignments to ensure adoption.
• Determine and collect essential data for effective program execution and governance, maintaining accurate trackers and status reports.
• Identify and execute program tasks, proactively manage dependencies, and incorporate Product Excellence values, Product Inclusion principles, and brand trust safeguards.
• Define program governance structures, manage mitigations, postmortems, escalations, and facilitate program team meetings.
• Determine strategic phasing and define metrics that drive continuous improvement, including Resource Stewardship, in partnership with stakeholders.
• Establish regular checkpoints to deliver and assess improvement metrics, ensuring transparency around program pivots.
Must-Have Qualifications:
• Proven proficiency in team management with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
• Expertise in program and technical program communications management.
• Strong capabilities in managing organizational change, including rollout planning.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience building relationships and managing expectations.
• Advanced planning abilities, including charter development and project planning.
• Strong technical judgment to triage issues and assess impact.
• Proficiency in execution and governance, including data collection, tracking, and defining governance structures.
• Experience in portfolio management across multiple programs or projects.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to define metrics and drive optimization.
