SALARY RANGE $95-105K + FULL BENEFITS
Aquent Studios is seeking a Primary Senior Designer to join our dedicated studio supporting a leading
aerospace and defense organization. In this role, you’ll be the dedicated senior designer for an assigned
business unit—creating a strong relationship with stakeholders, guiding concept development, elevating
brand expression and ensuring that every deliverable aligns with mission-driven goals and strict brand
standards. Execute high-level strategic projects from start to finish, while supporting additional
assignments as needed.

What You’ll Do
Creative Requirements
- Serve as the primary creative and brand point of contact for an assigned business or business area.
- Provide creative support across projects of varying complexity and channels—including print, digital, PowerPoint, video, 3D rendering.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define creative strategy and refine project briefs including scope.
- Facilitate brainstorming and creative kickoffs independently or with necessary partners (designers, writers, approved vendors or other business groups).
- Ensure all creative outputs meet project goals, client expectations and brand standards.
Project Execution & Quality
- Present creative concepts to partners and clearly communicate scope and project plan.
- Work with the internal Creative team and/or external partners, when needed to establish clearexpectations and resource needs.
- Develop sketches, mockups or applied layouts to help communication project scope.
- Independently execute high-level strategic projects from start to finish, while supportingadditional assignments as needed.
- Provide brand and creative quality control prior to reviews through completion.
- Maintain project communication and approvals using Workfront (WF).
Partnership & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with the Communications and Integrated Marketing teams.
- Partner effectively with the Aquent Studios support team dedicated to the account.
- Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables; act as a brand ambassador for the client.
- Select and collaborate with approved vendors, ensuring quality and alignment with project requirements.
- Support your primary business unit with the flexibility to assist other teams as needed.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in creative development and brand management—preferably in complex, technical, or regulated industries.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual development, visual storytelling, execution and multi-channel creative projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to excite senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain exceptional attention to detail simultaneously.
- Experience and comfortable working in a Windows environment.
- Expert level in Adobe CC including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat—proficiency in AfterEffects is a plus.
- Expert level in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and proficiency in Excel.
- Ensure resource alignment according to client expectations, content scope and final deliverables
- Independently execute projects from concept to final files.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with Workfront (WF) is a significant plus.
- Patient and capable of working in high-pressure, fast past environment.
- Able to adapt to evolving internal and external processes.
- Extremely organized, methodical and detail-oriented.
- Adept at building/maintaining strong client relationships by being an excellent communicator that creates deep trust and comfort with your clients.
