This is a hybrid position in Redmond, WA and will require 3 days a week onsite. The position will start as a 7 month engagement and could extend up to 18 months.

As a pivotal member of our Business Intelligence Analytics team, you will empower stakeholders with actionable insights, transforming complex data into clear, impactful visualizations and automated solutions. This role is integral to our Business Intelligence Analytics team, focusing on providing essential business insights to various audiences. You will be instrumental in key projects that involve gaining access to diverse data sources, ensuring data accuracy through rigorous validation, and transforming this validated data into meaningful reports and interactive dashboards for stakeholders. Your daily contributions will include validating data across multiple platforms, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with support teams, and building efficient automation solutions to streamline manual processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and business partners to define data requirements, implementation approaches, and best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies.
  • Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Coordinate changes to computer databases, including testing and implementation, leveraging your knowledge of database management systems.
  • Develop and maintain interactive data visualizations and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and relevance for target audiences.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues across multiple platforms and coordinate resolutions with support teams.
  • Create and update logical and physical database descriptions, specifying identifiers for management systems.
  • Test programs and databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.
  • Build rapid application development and workflow automation solutions to reduce manual effort and enhance efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10+ years of applicable experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
  • 8+ years of experience with Power BI Development  (dashboard design, DAX, performance optimization).
  • 8+ years of experience with data validation and ETL processes, particularly with multi-platform data integration.
  • 5+ years of experience with Power Apps / Power Automate (workflow automation and app building).
  • Proficiency with database technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated history of success in data-driven roles.
  • A strong desire to leverage data to drive better business decisions.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with low-code application development and workflow automation tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and adapt to evolving systems and technologies.
