Our client is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Marketing to lead its global marketing function through a period of significant growth and transformation. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for aligning marketing with divisional priorities, accelerating pipeline growth, and positioning the organisation as a trusted B2B thought leader.
Working in close partnership with Sales and Business Unit leadership, the successful candidate will foster a unified global marketing culture, strengthen collaboration across regions, and develop senior marketing talent to drive measurable commercial impact.
This is a part time, remote role – 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global marketing strategy that supports business objectives and drives sustainable growth.
- Ensure strategic alignment across Product, Growth, Operations, and Corporate Marketing to deliver cohesive and consistent market engagement.
- Champion a customer-focused approach to marketing, embedding this perspective across campaign design, go-to-market planning, and content development.
- Lead the adoption of AI and automation tools to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and support continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop senior marketing professionals, preparing them for executive leadership roles through structured coaching and development initiatives.
- Partner with Sales and Business Units to deliver high-impact marketing programmes that generate measurable return on investment.
- Oversee the selection and management of external agencies to ensure quality, accountability, and effective collaboration.
- Promote cross-functional alignment and position marketing as a strategic growth partner across the global organisation.
Candidate Profile
- 8–10+ years’ experience in B2B services or software marketing, with proven expertise in demand generation, product marketing, and team leadership.
- Demonstrated success leading marketing transformation in complex, matrixed, and global organisations.
- Strong track record of integrating human expertise with AI and digital tools to enhance marketing performance.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across functions and cultures.
- Experience mentoring and developing senior marketing talent.
- Background in private equity-owned or regulated industries (such as food, agriculture, or health sectors) is highly desirable.
