What You’ll Do:
- Lead the coordination and execution of large-scale corporate events, supporting both customer communities and internal employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, manage timelines, and meticulously track all logistical elements to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with vetted suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the onboarding process to secure top-tier services.
- Craft compelling attendee communications, promotional materials, and internal updates that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Design and produce engaging creative assets, including slide decks, signage, and event posts, adhering to established brand guidelines.
- Provide critical on-site support, managing day-of logistics and attending walkthroughs during peak event periods to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Maintain and update event data in various spreadsheets and forms, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate speakers, moderators, and volunteers, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared.
- Manage the procurement of event merchandise and other essential supplies.
- Handle room scheduling and location scouting for various event needs.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in corporate event planning and logistics, with a proven track record of managing large-scale events from end-to-end.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage complex logistics independently and drive initiatives with minimal hand-holding.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong creative eye and demonstrated ability to produce visually appealing event materials, including signage, slide decks, and invitations, using brand assets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for drafting various event-related content and negotiating with vendors.
- Proficiency in managing data within spreadsheets and event tooling.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with many moving parts and high complexity.
- Willingness to be fully engaged and hands-on during lead-up and event days.
- A portfolio link or work samples are preferred with your submission.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Project Management certification.
