Aquent is partnering with a leading global brand to find a talented **Packaging Designer** who will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and consumer experience of their renowned products. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact how products are presented to millions, ensuring brand consistency and exceptional quality through meticulous design and technical execution. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a keen eye for detail, your expertise will be instrumental in bringing captivating designs to life.
As a Packaging Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating and refining the critical elements that define our client’s product presentation. Your work will ensure that every hangtag, label, and packaging component not only looks exceptional but is also perfectly prepared for production, upholding the highest standards of quality and brand integrity.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Create, build, and meticulously update packaging mechanicals across a diverse range of formats, including hangtags, jokers, and various packaging components.
* Accurately incorporate measurements, precise specifications, and clear annotations into all mechanical designs.
* Ensure all design files are production-ready, adhering to correct sizing, bleeds, layering, and color callouts.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to implement design updates and maintain unwavering brand consistency across all packaging elements.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential.
* A deep understanding of packaging production processes, dielines, and print setup standards.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work.
* Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet tight deadlines.
* A collaborative spirit, easy to work with, and open to feedback and changes.
* Demonstrated years of professional experience in packaging design; this role is not suitable for recent graduates.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Extensive prior experience specifically in packaging design.
