Aquent Talent is seeking a talented Designer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the creation of commercially successful product designs across various collections. You’ll collaborate closely with the design team to bring concepts to life, ensuring they align with the brand’s overall vision and business strategy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your creativity and expertise to a dynamic and influential brand.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in creating brand-right, commercially viable designs that reflect the conceptual direction and business strategy.
- Produce design sketches and prototypes, providing clear specifications for construction.
- Manage and maintain the sample room, ensuring efficient organization and workflow.
- Create flat sketches, CAD images, and technical packages (TPs) to support the design team.
- Update the Design Line Sheet (LS) and relevant documents within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Prepare the design team for meetings and presentations, coordinating line presentation boards and selecting product samples.
- Collaborate with technical design on fit and execution of prototypes, participating in fittings and providing necessary follow-up.
- Track and organize development samples, ensuring timely delivery and seamless handoff to key stakeholders.
- Attend team meetings and partner alignment sessions to maintain effective communication and collaboration.
- Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating necessary revisions for finalization.
- Understand and anticipate customer needs to exceed expectations and respond effectively to their preferences.
- Utilize internal and external resources to source new ideas, staying up-to-date on competitor research and trend analysis.
- Achieve goals with attention to detail, tracking progress and anticipating potential challenges.
- Embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth, continuously developing skills and competencies.
- Develop a strong understanding of the brand’s identity, history, and specific category expertise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners across the organization.

Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience
- Exceptional creative talent with a commercial fashion eye and attention to detail in product styling and performance
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for design and a strong understanding of brand history and DNA
- Ability to receive and incorporate constructive criticism
