Job Title: Website Content Specialist (Temp, Remote)
Duration: Full-time, approximately 2 months (potentially extending into 2026)

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, resourceful, and self-motivated Website Content Specialist to join our website content team on a temporary basis. You will play a key role in coordinating a few website projects, with a focus on gathering, organizing, and populating content across a high volume of product pages.
Key Responsibilities:
● Coordinate and execute content updates for 3-4 brand sites.
● Gather product information from various teams and stakeholders across the organization.
● Populate, organize, and quality-check product content in various files, ensuring a high level of accuracy and completeness.
● Retrieve and upload content to/from internal systems (e.g., Salsify, Stibo, Jira); on-the-job training provided for these tools.
● Perform manual/visual website audits to identify missing content or gaps on product pages and document findings clearly.
● Collaborate and follow up with colleagues to securely obtain and clarify needed information.
● Document needs, issues, and resolutions for audit and tracking purposes.
● Provide informal progress updates weekly or as requested by the content manager.
● Maintain well-organized records and ensure content accuracy throughout all assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
● 2-3 years of prior experience working with web content, digital assets, or ecommerce product descriptions (direct or related experience preferred).
● Proficiency with Google Suite
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to follow through independently, manage tasks with minimal supervision, and maintain focus on repetitive or routine work.
● Professional and effective communication skills.
● Resourceful, proactive problem-solver; comfortable seeking out information and resolving roadblocks.
● Experience downloading/uploading files to various software platforms or willingness to learn on the job.
Other Information:
● Standard working hours: 9am–5pm ET (can be flexible based on project pace).
● No prior knowledge of the CPG industry is necessary.
● Must be comfortable with the “behind-the-scenes” work of organizing, checking, and updating website content.
● You will be supported by the ecommerce content manager, but self-motivation and follow-through are essential for success in this role.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.00-$45.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
