Content Ingestion Specialist

As a Content Ingestion Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in expanding the software selection available on a leading digital distribution platform, directly impacting millions of users. You will partner with top software publishers, ensuring their products are seamlessly integrated and ready for purchase. This exciting opportunity will allow you to collaborate with a team of experts to bring the best software to customers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of content ingestion, from working with publishers to troubleshooting technical issues. Your work will directly impact the customer experience, making it easier for them to discover and access the software they need.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with software publishers to gather comprehensive product lists and digital assets (files, images, product information).
• Manage the ingestion process, ensuring accurate and efficient onboarding of software products onto the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any errors encountered during the ingestion process.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and product availability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Symphony experience required
• MUST HAVE marketing/merchandising experience 
• Proven experience in content management or a related field.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor management.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and process mapping.
• Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and HTML.
• Weblab knowledge preferred.
