We are looking for a Data Analyst for an 8-month engagement onsite in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing data-driven insights that fuel critical business decisions, optimize processes, and drive innovation. As a Data Analyst, you will dive deep into complex business challenges, leveraging internal and external data sources to uncover hidden trends and patterns. Your insights will empower decision-makers to develop strategic and tactical plans, shaping the future of the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Database Access & Management: Query and manage data from Snowflake, SQL Server, and other relational databases. Integrate data from various sources into centralized views for analysis. Maintain and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. Develop and maintain KPI dashboards using leading visualization tools. Automate recurring reports and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Tool Integration & Governance: Collaborate with platform owners to ensure accurate data ingestion. Reconcile data discrepancies and support audits and compliance initiatives.
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Create and maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, and system documentation. Work cross-functionally with IT, asset management, and governance teams to align data strategies. Participate in meetings and reviews to present findings and support strategic planning.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing principles.
  • Proficiency in querying and managing data from Snowflake and SQL Server.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to conduct exploratory and statistical analysis to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating data from various sources such as ServiceNow, SCCM, Jamf, and Wiz.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages for data automation.
