As a Social Content Specialist, you’ll be the creative force behind engaging content across major social media platforms.

This role is primarily remote, but they prefer someone in Chicago or NYC so they can come into the office occasionally.

You’ll produce eye-catching videos, stunning photos, and captivating graphics, all while staying ahead of the latest trends. Your work will directly influence how consumers experience these beloved brands, building community and strengthening brand loyalty. Responsibilities:

  • Develop highly engaging content optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Produce original video and photo content, along with static graphics, aligning with brand guidelines and current trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to ensure content aligns with overall brand strategy and campaign objectives.
  • Stay informed about social media trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to continuously improve content strategy.
  • Participate in all stages of content creation, from initial brainstorming to final execution and posting.
  • Analyze performance data to evaluate and optimize content effectiveness.
  • Appear on camera in produced content, showcasing your personality and expertise.
  • Discover, source, and manage content libraries of user-generated, employee-generated, and partner-produced assets.
  • Support creative briefing, development, and production of externally sourced content.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media content creation.
  • Proven skills in graphic design, videography, photography, and video editing (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.).
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing outstanding social content and creative impact. Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media management tools (Sprinklr preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience in community management and/or agency background.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience.
  • A visible personal social presence (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $25-28 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
