As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing network infrastructure, ensuring reliable service for customers, and driving impactful change within the organization. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in program management to lead critical infrastructure projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly contribute to enhancing the customer experience.

Be a key player in a transformative project focused on upgrading existing network infrastructure. You will oversee and coordinate construction vendors, track progress, and collaborate closely with the Special Projects Manager to ensure seamless execution. This role offers a unique opportunity to own the end-to-end project lifecycle, from engineering and design to construction and completion. Your leadership and technical acumen will be essential in driving successful outcomes and delivering enhanced network reliability for customers.

This is a 6 months, hybrid contract based in St Antonio, offering $49.18-$55.73 / hour. This role is open for a limited time. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily oversight to construction vendors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Assist in the overall program management of the remediation project, collaborating with stakeholders and resolving any roadblocks.
  • Develop and manage production runway plans across all vendors, forecasting resource needs and optimizing project schedules.
  • Define, drive, and own program charters, outlining scope, timelines, objectives, resourcing, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement effective communication plans, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned on project progress.
  • Anticipate and manage change management requirements, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, fostering collaboration and enabling effective decision-making.
  • Develop technical analysis, tools, and processes to support engineering execution and enhance project velocity.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform program governance and drive data-driven decisions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical program management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in telecommunications or network infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
  • Strong technical background with experience in engineering or construction.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.18-$55.73 / hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
