Clinical Pharmacist

Overview

Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist in Florida!

This position is 100% remote within the state of Florida.  For this reason, we will only consider candidates who currently live in Florida.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis.  C2C and 1099 are not permitted for this role.
• Have a current Pharmacist license in the state of Florida.

Make a real impact on patient care as a Pharmacist specializing in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) with a leading healthcare provider working with Aquent. You will play a crucial role in improving patient health outcomes by providing comprehensive medication reviews and consultations. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise and make a tangible difference in patients’ lives.

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive medication reviews (CMRs) and providing in-depth consultations, focusing on statin medication use based on AHA guidelines. You will connect directly with patients via outbound calls, offering personalized guidance and support to optimize their medication regimens. Your expertise will be essential in transcribing patient-specific prescription information, diagnoses, and recommendations into a secure, web-based application. This data will be used to generate standardized documents that will be sent directly to patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health. You will also be a key member of the MTM product team, collaborating with colleagues to enhance patient care.
 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls to patients (approximately 100 calls per day).
• Perform comprehensive medication reviews (CMRs).
• Deliver medication therapy management (MTM) services.
• Accurately and efficiently enter patient-specific prescription information, diagnoses, and recommendations into a third-party web-based application.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to essential job responsibilities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacist License in Florida (please include a screenshot at the top of your resume)
• At least 4 years of experience as a clinical MTM pharmacist
• Familiarity with driving Part D Star measures, specifically SUPD, SPC, and CMR
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical terminology
• Clinical experience in medication review
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tech-savvy

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Management experience
• Experience using Salesforce

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57.85 – $59.85 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
