Assistant Sourcing Manager

This exciting role offers you the opportunity to collaborate with designers, merchants, and technical designers, ensuring that all fabrics align with sustainability goals, cost objectives, and quality standards. You’ll be a vital link in the supply chain, contributing to a “fabric first” approach and fostering a culture of sustainable material usage.
What You’ll Do:

• Support the development and execution of sustainable fabric sourcing strategies across various categories.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to source sustainable fabrics that meet quality, cost, and aesthetic requirements.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a physical and digital sustainable fabric library.
• Assist in achieving the company’s 2030 sustainable material goals.
• Participate in fabric testing and bulk fabric reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage timelines, track development progress, and handle communication with suppliers and internal partners.
• Support the Product Design teams in achieving margin goals and aligning with sourcing strategies.

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in fabric sourcing, with a focus on sustainable materials.
• Strong understanding of textile production processes and sustainability certifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $34.91 to $38.79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
