As a Public Policy Manager, you’ll be a vital voice, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop policy frameworks that promote safe and responsible online experiences. Your expertise will directly influence product development and shape the landscape of online interaction.
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with a highly cross-functional team, partnering with product, legal, communications, and partnership teams. You will also engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and non-profit organizations to foster a collaborative approach to policy development. Your work will have a tangible impact on how people connect and communicate online.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with policymakers, trade associations, and key stakeholders to develop policy frameworks that promote safe and responsible online experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate policy considerations into product development.
- Monitor emerging public policy issues and identify relevant thought leaders.
- Manage advocacy campaigns, developing communication plans and outreach strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including research, social media, and media relations, to execute campaign strategies effectively.
- Manage client expectations while upholding ethical standards and building trust.
Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in internet technologies, online safety, content moderation, and related policy environments.
- Experience with government relations and/or policy issues.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Track record of executing cross-functional policy campaigns.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55.24 to $61.38 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
