Group Account Director – Global Brand Experience (Production, Events, Content)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, flexible) 
Salary: Up to $139K
Travel: 10–15%

Overview:
Our client, a rapidly growing creative and production-focused agency, is seeking a Group Account Director to lead one of their most high-profile global accounts. This is a strategic leadership role focused on immersive B2B programs across video, events, and digital content—ideal for someone who thrives in high-impact, fast-moving environments.

The agency is known for crafting B2B marketing that’s anything but boring—merging strategic storytelling with cutting-edge production to create meaningful experiences and drive business results. Backed by investors and led by a visionary founder, the agency is scaling quickly and building out its senior leadership team.

The Role:
The Group Account Director will own a deeply integrated client relationship, working across departments, programs, and international markets. This isn’t a role juggling multiple accounts—it’s about going deep and making a real impact with one global client.

They’ll oversee a team of four, manage strategic planning and day-to-day execution, and partner closely with internal creative, production, and events teams to ensure world-class delivery. This person should be equally comfortable in the weeds and in the boardroom—an empathetic leader, sharp strategist, and collaborative problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client lead, managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Lead and develop a team of four account service professionals, providing strategic guidance and career mentorship
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of integrated B2B programs including events, multimedia content, and sales enablement campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams—creative, media production, print, and event specialists—to ensure smooth delivery
  • Guide strategic thinking and translate client business needs into actionable creative briefs
  • Manage scopes of work, timelines, budgets, and reporting with accuracy and transparency
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and creative bravery within the team

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in account or client service roles, with at least 2 years managing direct reports
  • Experience at a creative or brand experience agency 
  • Strong B2B background with a focus on content, experiential, and event marketing
  • Track record of building trusted relationships with senior clients and internal teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Skilled at writing and managing scopes, budgets, and timelines
  • Comfortable with project management systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
