As a Commercial and Sponsorship Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of commercial and sponsorship content, directly impacting how audiences experience entertainment. Partnering with various teams, including Network Control, Programming, and Technology, you’ll leverage your expertise to optimize revenue generation and contribute to the company’s overall success.
This role offers a unique opportunity to dive into the intricate world of media and entertainment, working behind the scenes to shape the delivery of captivating content. Your meticulous approach and collaborative spirit will be essential in managing the day-to-day functions of the commercial scheduling and sponsorship team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the commercial scheduling and sponsorship team, demonstrating proficiency in all team processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (DAS, Network Control, Programming, and Technology) to guarantee accurate delivery and execution of all domestic network commercial logs for media spots and sponsorships.
- Manage and integrate added-value sponsorship elements, including logos, animations, and voiceovers, ensuring accurate on-air execution.
- Implement client requests, deal points, and placement instructions, adhering to guidelines for live episodes, sports, product exclusivity, and fair rotation of ad inventory.
- Generate and distribute domestic network commercial logs.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, including employee training and IT enhancement testing.
- Provide support and answer scheduling inquiries from network control and other stakeholders.
- Identify and propose internal changes to adapt to evolving business needs and strategy shifts.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial scheduling and sponsorship management.
- Strong understanding of media and entertainment industry practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technologies.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33.03 to $36.71 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
