Make a real impact as a Human Resources Generalist supporting a prestigious healthcare organization! Partnering with Aquent, you’ll join a dynamic HR team, playing a vital role in fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role offers a unique blend of administrative and strategic responsibilities, allowing you to contribute to key HR functions while directly supporting employees.

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be the go-to resource for employees seeking guidance on HR matters. You’ll handle everything from benefits administration and leave of absence requests to training and development programs. Your expertise will ensure smooth HR operations and contribute to a thriving workplace. This exciting role will allow you to work on impactful projects, collaborate with a talented team, and make a tangible difference in the lives of your colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR advisory services to employees, covering staffing, benefits, leave of absence, training and development, and employee relations.
  • Respond to HR inquiries and appeals efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate, interpret, and update HR policies, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Assist with Joint Commission Accreditation preparation and processes.
  • Manage HRIS, including business process builds, testing, and report generation.
  • Prepare and maintain employment records related to hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Perform benefit quality checks and manage day-to-day benefit administration, including retirement eligibility.
  • Oversee leave of absence administration, including ADA accommodations, return-to-work processes, and terminations.
  • Respond to unemployment requests for information and manage appeals.
  • Coordinate and facilitate committees and employee resource groups.
  • Organize and support annual HR events, such as benefits open enrollment and employee recognition programs.
  • Maintain HR department website and benefits resources.
  • Assist with staff investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and policy adherence.
  • Support various HR duties and projects as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Experience using HR databases and HRIS systems.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle data confidentially.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of HR principles and administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software.
  • Workday, Excel, and ServiceNow experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.44 to $60.49 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
