Responsibilities:
- Design user-centered interfaces for search experiences, focusing on intuitive navigation and information architecture.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design specifications that effectively communicate design solutions.
- Collaborate with UX researchers to understand user needs and behaviors, incorporating findings into design iterations.
- Partner with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, maintaining quality and consistency.
- Contribute to the development of design systems and style guides, ensuring a cohesive user experience across platforms.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating design decisions and impact.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously pushing the boundaries of search design.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in product design, with a focus on UX/UI for web and mobile applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating a user-centered approach and strong visual design skills.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with AI-powered design tools and technologies.
- Experience designing for large-scale, global products.
- Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
- Experience with prototyping tools.
