We are looking for a tech savvy Content Production Specialist to join us to help manage our assets used in 365 and Office products and improve our content production pipelines. Our team is a creative, multi-discipline team spanning all aspects of the creation, designing, and building of 365 templates. Templates have long helped customers get started, be productive, and create professional-looking content. Now, premium templates help to amplify the value of a subscription. We are evolving the templates experiences, modernizing the catalog, and leveraging the power of intelligent services to bring differentiated value.

The ideal candidate is tech savvy and focused on improving our content production pipelines. You’ll play a key role in managing the catalog of templates and assets that our customers use in 365 products, including photos, icons, fonts, video, and more. You thrive in collaborative cultures, yet are disciplined, organized, able to deal with lots of requests, and successful with tight deadlines. You can work independently and as part of a team. You’re excited to innovate and believe in ensuring the highest quality content. You obsess about processes and workflows.

Responsibilities:
• Support the daily content production workflows and schedule
• Manage work requests via Planner and ADO tasks
• Conduct quality control of the content to maintain a high quality bar for produced content
• Ingestion, tagging, and publishing into asset management systems, including bulk actions for high asset volumes.
• Author the required metadata for web content (titles, descriptions, keywords)
• Publish content as it arrives into the production pipeline
• Timely communications to template team stakeholders on the status of content as it flows through the pipeline
• Maintain template programming with new and seasonally relevant content
• Maintain process documentation for the production pipeline; seek improvements and efficiencies/automation

Experience/Skills required:
• 2+ years of production experience in a content publishing, operations, or other media company required
• Strong expertise with Office products in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Teams for document storage and collaboration
• Familiarity with editing XML
• Familiarity with CMS, DAM
• Understand SEO best practices
• Excellent editorial judgment and communication skills required
• Content organization and tagging at scale
• High attention to detail
• Strong project management
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Library Science, or a related field preferred
