Software Design Engineer

About the Role:

As a Software Design Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated software projects. You’ll collaborate with a team of experts, tackling complex challenges and contributing to projects that leverage Python, a leading machine learning tool, and large language models. This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in these critical technologies and contribute to a team pushing the boundaries of AI.

What You’ll Do:

• Fine-tune and enhance a diverse range of complex software implementations.
• Gather and analyze system requirements, create detailed specifications, and develop software solutions that address client needs and data.
• Analyze and assess enhancement requests and specifications.
• Implement and customize system software to meet client requirements.
• Develop comprehensive software specifications and test plans.
• Write new code based on client specifications and generate test data.
• Update existing programs to adhere to new standards and conduct thorough unit testing.
• Create migration packages for system testing, user acceptance testing, and final implementation.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews.
• Perform post-implementation validation of software and address any identified bugs.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Python.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with PyTorch.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Onnx.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Prior experience with large-scale software design and development.
• Proven experience in in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and existing production systems.
• Strong background in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Solid foundation in computer science, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $39/hr – $43/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
