You will spearhead the design and development of a vital Project Management Toolkit, empowering teams to deliver seamless business and technology initiatives. As the Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating and implementing a standardized Project Management Toolkit, complete with comprehensive checklists and reusable templates. Your expertise will ensure consistent project execution across diverse data center environments. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you’ll present and explain the toolkit’s components, fostering understanding and adoption. You will partner with management, engineering, and operations teams to define project specifications and procedures, guaranteeing adherence to the toolkit across various initiatives. Your leadership will extend to managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of toolkit components and supporting systems. This role provides a platform to showcase your project management prowess and contribute to a global technology leader.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and implementation of a standardized Project Management Toolkit, including checklists and reusable templates, to ensure consistent project execution across data center environments.
- Present and explain the toolkit’s components to stakeholders, fostering understanding and adoption.
- Collaborate with management, engineering, and operations teams to define project specifications and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to the Project Management Toolkit across initiatives impacting data center operations.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of toolkit components and supporting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and operations) to define business requirements and integrate technical feasibility criteria into planning tools.
- Oversee the implementation of toolkit components across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and stakeholder needs.
- Define and execute test plans to validate toolkit usability and effectiveness; lead user acceptance testing and rollout planning.
- Facilitate training and enablement sessions to drive toolkit adoption across teams.
- Develop required technical specifications for project management processes and templates, integrating them into an enterprise project management tracking tool.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- PMP or PMI certification.
- Proficiency with standard productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, word processing software).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions in multi-platform environments.
- Prior experience within a similar organization.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $66 to $74 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
