As a User Experience Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of e-commerce for a diverse range of businesses. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights and user-centered design principles to craft exceptional web applications. Your work will directly impact the daily operations of countless retailers and manufacturers, optimizing their ability to manage their online presence and connect with customers. Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors through process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements using online data, usability findings, market research, and UCD principles.
• Assess and optimize feature performance through usability testing and analytics data interpretation.
• Present design work to UX, product, and executive teams for review.
• Contribute to UI design and development best practices and standards.
• Provide leadership in e-commerce trends, web application design, and UI innovations.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in interaction design for web and/or software applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in web-based information architecture and design best practices, along with strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
• A strong online portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.
• Ability to work with technical teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Prototyping skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or Flash.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $88.99 to $98.88 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
