Our client (a provider of vehicle protection programs and services to the automotive, RV, powersports, and marine markets) is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to lead the company’s online initiatives. The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in the planning, execution and optimization of online marketing efforts to support various lines of business in the B2B environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology and be well-versed in the concepts and practices of digital marketing to build brand awareness, increase client engagement and inform and convert prospects to active clients.
This position is onsite and based in the heart of Las Colinas in Irving, Texas.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with our distribution partners and their customers
• Plan, build and implement digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms to increase Company and brand awareness
• Manage multiple Company websites using a custom CMS in WordPress ensuring accuracy of the sites and timely and relevant content updates
• Lead website redesign for Company web domains
• Design and build campaign website landing pages to support marketing initiatives
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools and make adjustments to increase success and conversion rates
• Plan, execute and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (LinkedIN, Facebook and Vimeo)
• Research, recommend and implement a social media management tool for the Company’s online accounts
• Design, implement, track and report on email campaigns
• Engage in Company initiatives to develop and implement client-facing portals to ensure a seamless customer experience; Includes market research of client needs, competitive analysis of similar portals, design of wireframes and creation of layout designs
• Collaborate with internal designers and content marketer to improve user experience with the Company’s digital properties
• Research and remain current on online marketing trends, technologies and tactics as the subject matter expert for the Company; Recommend strategies to ensure the relevance of Company online assets
• Engage with client accounts to assess methods for increasing B2C messaging for vehicle protection programs through their online properties, as needed
• Serve as the technical resource to the Marketing team for current platforms and new technologies to support marketing initiatives
‘Must Have’ Qualifications
• 5-7 years professional experience in a digital marketing, web design or related marketing capacity (B2B)
• Proficiency in Content Management Systems (WordPress ideal) and experience with Divi, HTML, Java, CSS
• Knowledge of and experience in SEO, Google Analytics or similar tool, organic search, PPC (pay per click) and paid social advertising
• Experience with Constant Contact, MailChimp or similar email campaign management programs
• Strong ability to understand business and customer needs, customer and/or user experience management, and technology capabilities
• Highly organized with an attention to detail
• Innovative, results-oriented, self-starter capable of coordinating numerous projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
• Strong collaboration, written and verbal communications, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with team members, executives and other departments, vendors and clients
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, strategic communications, advertising, graphic design, computer science or related field
‘Nice to Have’ Qualifications
• Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications (B2B), including marketing strategy, campaign development, design and execution, and content marketing and digital marketing
• Functional skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Acrobat
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
• Experience with web forms creation (e.g., Formstack, Ninja Forms, etc)
• Experience using Hootsuite or similar social media platform management tool
• Experience with B2C marketing beneficial, but not required
• Video editing skills preferred
• Agency experience is a plus
