As a Design Researcher partnering with Aquent, you’ll join a team that values user-centric design and pushes the boundaries of digital innovation. You will be embedded within a product, journey, or channel team and will be responsible for identifying research needs, proposing and executing research methodologies, analyzing findings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement user-centered solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with stakeholders within and outside the design team to understand research needs and priorities.
- Propose and implement diverse research methodologies (moderated and unmoderated) to address business and design objectives.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and other qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Analyze research data, synthesize findings, and communicate key insights to the design team and stakeholders.
- Facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative workshops to translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
- Contribute to the development of design research best practices and champion user-centered design principles.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Studies, Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in user research.
- Strong understanding of design research theory and practical experience with various research tools and methodologies.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate research findings clearly and persuasively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- MA/MS degree or certification in a related field.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles.
- Experience working within a large organization and an agile environment.
- Experience contributing to the launch of a digital product.
