As an Internal and Employee Communications Manager, you will shape the narrative and foster a thriving workplace culture. You’ll be the voice of the company, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and inspired. This is a six-month contract covering a maternity leave.

As an Internal and Employee Communications Manager, you will be the vital link between leadership and employees, crafting and delivering impactful communications that drive engagement and align with company goals. You will play a key role in developing and executing global communication strategies, collaborating with various departments to ensure consistent messaging, and fostering a positive and informed work environment. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in how employees experience their workplace.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement comprehensive internal communication plans that support “always on” communication efforts across various departments.
  • Develop and manage engaging communications for employees globally, particularly regarding enterprise strategy.
  • Create programs and initiatives that promote employee involvement and morale.
  • Organize and manage events such as town halls and panel discussions.
  • Write, edit, and publish engaging content for various internal platforms, ensuring alignment with company brand and values.
  • Manage the creation and dissemination of critical company updates and announcements.
  • Assist executives and managers in developing effective communication strategies.
  • Develop surveys and feedback mechanisms to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement, analyzing feedback and implementing changes to improve communication.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret feedback and data.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for employee engagement.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Experience working with senior-level executives.
  • Adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in communication.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.50 to $60.56 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
