This is a US- based remote contract position that starts at 11 months and has the ability to extend up to 18 months.

You will have a direct impact on the future of their flagship franchise by optimizing pricing strategies and conducting critical financial analysis. As a Financial and Business Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the financial success of this studio’s most iconic game. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies, analyze market trends, and provide key financial insights that will drive revenue growth. Your work will directly influence the player experience and contribute to the continued success of the franchise.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain pricing matrices across various platforms
- Analyze foreign exchange rate fluctuations and their impact on revenue
- Manage the implementation of pricing strategy changes across various platforms for game and add-on content
- Conduct analysis to evaluate the impact of price tests and recommend strategic adjustments
- Prepare detailed reports on geographic financial/unit performance, including ad hoc and monthly updates
- Audit current pricing structures and suggest improvements to maximize revenue and profitability
- Document and refine existing and new business operations processes for accuracy and efficiency
- Provide ad hoc performance reporting support to the business operations team
- Put together clean powerpoint presentations and share information with stakeholders
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing, or financial operations
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel
- Experience with PowerBI
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with financial modeling and pricing strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with foreign exchange impacts and revenue reporting across multiple geographies
- Experience with SQL or other data analysis software
- Passion for gaming
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 to $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
