Make an Impact:

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the game. Collaborating closely with data scientists, you will empower them with the data they need to make informed decisions, ensuring data quality, reliability, and usability. Your expertise in building data pipelines, crafting data models, and ensuring data integrity will directly influence the game’s evolution and enhance the player experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with data scientists to understand their information needs and design data models to meet those needs.
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines, transforming raw data into clean, enriched, and readily usable information.
  • Design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines, handling large datasets and event streaming data.
  • Develop frameworks and reusable components to enhance the team’s infrastructure and efficiency.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and privacy, adhering to best practices and company policies.
  • Test programs and databases, correcting errors and implementing necessary modifications.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
  • Strong Python skills with a Pythonic mindset, and proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective data models.
  • Experience with DevOps and DataOps principles.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with a collaborative cloud-based analytics and machine learning platform
  • Prior experience in the video game industry.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
