As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective learning experiences. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and eLearning specialists to create innovative training solutions that address critical business needs and drive measurable results.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough job-task analyses and needs assessments to pinpoint learning objectives and identify optimal training solutions, including performance enhancement strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish individual training program goals, overarching program objectives, and module-specific objectives, ensuring alignment with employee performance requirements.
  • Apply instructional design principles to develop course content in partnership with subject matter experts, management, trainers, and eLearning specialists, creating new training programs from the ground up.
  • Leverage adult learning theory to select appropriate training media and methodologies tailored to audience learning styles, course content, location, and learning stage, encompassing classroom, online, and blended learning approaches.
  • Partner with eLearning specialists to develop sophisticated eLearning programs and applications using template-oriented tools.
  • Research, select, and adapt existing training curricula, content, materials, and job aids to meet specific learning needs.
  • Analyze program evaluations, test results, participant feedback, and manager input to recommend program improvements and enhance training effectiveness.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Articulate 360

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in, or applicable knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Prior experience in, or applicable knowledge of Underwriting

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28.05 to $31.17 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
