Job Title: UX Designer
Location: North Houston, TX (Onsite, 5 days/week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate UX Designer to lead design efforts for complex initiatives, creating meaningful, human-centered experiences. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience for technical domains such as Fintech, medical, scientific, and oil & gas sectors. You will empower others to cultivate a shared understanding of design strategies, customers, and requirements, driving the creation of exceptional products.
Responsibilities:

Lead the design process for complex projects, from concept to execution.

Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints.

Produce high-quality design deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual designs.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure design solutions are aligned with business goals and user needs.

Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.

Mentor and guide other designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a UX Designer.

A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design solutions.

Proven experience in designing user interfaces for web applications and desktop applications, particularly those addressing complex, technical problems.

Proficiency in user research and usability testing methodologies.

Expertise in UX design principles, best practices, and trends.

Proficiency in prototyping and wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.

Experience working within an Agile software development environment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Strong interaction design skills
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience designing for technical domains such as Fintech, medical, scientific, or oil & gas sectors.

Experience with AI design.

Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Cognitive Science).

Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and influence design decisions.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48 to $58 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
