A leading technology innovator is seeking a skilled Usability Researcher to join their team and revolutionize how users interact with their products. As a Usability Researcher, you will be instrumental in building and scaling global research programs, empowering a world-class UX Research team. Your expertise in operational systems, connecting teams and knowledge, and overcoming operational challenges will enable researchers to deliver their most impactful work. This role blends strategic program planning with hands-on project management, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of user research.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage centralized systems and processes for participant recruitment, including collaborating with external recruitment agencies.
  • Oversee the administration of software licenses, working with procurement, legal, and finance teams.
  • Document standard operating procedures, ensuring data security and compliance, including managing data access and conducting privacy reviews.
  • Manage a knowledge library of best practice templates and guides, supporting the team in maintaining a user needs framework and insights repository.
  • Manage the research backlog for the entire team, prioritizing workload and ensuring resource visibility.
  • Assist Research Managers with budget and resource allocation.
  • Leverage data-informed insights to drive operational improvements in efficiency and accuracy.
  • Create, scale, and execute strategic programs to optimize team efficiency.
  • Drive participant management process improvements and identify workflow optimization opportunities.

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in an operations role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to use data to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and programs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility, and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and process mapping software).
  • 5+ years of experience in the UX Research field and familiarity with participant recruiting methods.
  • 5+ years of experience with budget management (PO/SOW, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience documenting operating procedures.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Agile project management tools or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of collaborative document management systems.
  • Experience working in a Research Operations role.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51.92 to $57.69 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
