We’re seeking a Social Media Designer to help bring our brand to life across social media channels for our client. As a designer, you will work closely with the greater social media team and cross-functional partners to produce interesting, timely and on-brand content. You are both a graphic designer and video editor with a knack for visual storytelling through the lens of social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create and edit content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Tik Tok
- Help with content creation to amplify our client’s mission on Social Media
- Craft how creative shows up across our client’s social media channels
- Create and edit social-native assets including animation, photos and short-form videos, alongside the design team
- Uphold current social media guidelines and follow best practice to ensure consistent quality and performance
- Utilize insights from the social team to develop high-impact content that aligns with our client
- Explore opportunities with AI and other platforms to allow our client to be on the cutting edge of creative on social media
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in social media content creation focusing on graphic design, video production and visual storytelling
- Ability to translate complex topics with little guidance
- A strong eye for detail and process
- You understand social media best practices
- Able to build positive relationships with colleagues across the business
- Strong ability to manage yourself and multiple projects
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and advanced video editing software
- Previous finance or strongly regulated business sector experience a plus
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $46.25 to $51.39 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
