Summary

Our team collaborates closely with creatives across various services to craft a wide range of exciting and unparalleled creative content for our products, ranging from photography/motion of subjects including musicians and live sports events to art buying and illustration.

We are seeking a Photo Archivist with extensive knowledge around DAM systems, photography ingestion, creative file management, and documentation creation to join our team. In this role you’ll work closely with the photography team to maintain and connect creatives to our vast image and video archive, and to create infrastructure that supports the production of media content that is experienced on a global scale.

As an archivist, you have a deep interest in organizational principles and a keen ability to understand accessibility needs in a multi-disciplinary and cross functional organization. You have an excellent understanding of artistic standards including color spaces and the bespoke needs of visual file management, and are excited at the prospect of anticipating the archiving needs of complex and complicated projects.

Qualifications

  • Prior Digital Asset Management (DAM) experience (uploading, organizing, data entry, etc.)
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Wrike, Airtable, Asana, WorkFront or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Capture One’s tethering, image adjustments, and metadata presets
  • Quality Control experience specific to photography assets
  • Familiarity with testing new software features and reporting and documentation of bugs to stakeholders/engineering efforts
  • Advanced guide/documentation creation for teaching purposes
  • Deep knowledge of metadata/structural hierarchies
  • Asset workflow/pipeline planning and future proofing
  • Ability to work rapidly with short deadlines
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • A sense of ownership to complete projects without needing direct supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.35 to $47.06 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
