E-Commerce Marketing Specialist

Job Specific Scope

Ecommerce 75%

  • Supports the execution of the store’s ecommerce business including website, online store, and off campus shopping events
  • Copywriting, scheduling and publishing graphics as well as monitoring online conversations and participating in those conversations to build brand awareness.
  • Create engaging content for our internal platforms
  • Create sign packages for our off-campus events
  • Plan and execute product launching strategy for new products and analyze market trends to find new items for our target audience.
  • Optimize product listings on e-commerce platforms through description, keyword SEO and update images periodically.
  • Stay up to date on the latest ecommerce trends/techniques to help drive awareness and attract new customers, build loyalty with existing customers, and grow overall business.
  • Create and edit photos/content for use on websites, promotional videos, social media, and other informational applications.
  • Must be well-versed in consumer-facing marketing tactics to create authentic and engaging content that will entice guests to make a purchase and increase conversions.
  • Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure that visual assets are on-brand and effective.
  • Work with the Product Development coordinator to ensure product launch timelines are on target.
  • Effectively communicate with cross functional teams on new product offering activations.

Sales and Guest Service (Support when needed) 10%

  • Ensure that the guest service standards are consistently executed at a high level and exceeds the guest’s expectations
  • Assist guests with placing, tracking, and returning orders while maintaining a friendly, can-do attitude
  • Document guest interactions thoroughly and accurately
  • Proudly and professionally represent the company and its branded product at bi-annual off campus shopping events and conventions
  • Support all Cast activities and team centers

Inventory Management 5%

  • Support Retail Specialist with functions of merchandise program with transfers and receipts

Basic Qualifications

  • Excels in Photoshop, Illustrator, Power Point, Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Photography portfolio or experience with taking photographs
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross function teams, executives and employees and external partners
  • Effectively communicate with Guests, peers and management within and among all the business units
  • Strong organizational skills, versatility and ability to multi task
  • Proven success in decision-making, diplomacy, and flexibility
  • Highly motivated, results oriented, and able to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening skills
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced and high energy retail environment
  • Able to work a flexible retail schedule that meets the needs of the business including, evenings, weekend, and key off site special events
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company guidelines

Education/Experience

  • 2 year college degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of previous graphic, marketing, or other related work.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $23.68 to $26.32 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
